2nd ASN Conference: “Making Connections”
Loughborough University, U.K.
3-5 September 2012
I lecture in the Department of Politics, History and International Relations at Loughborough University (GB).
My main teaching areas have been post-1945 French society, the history of the French and European Left and labour movements, critical conceptions of 'democracy' and the present-day anticapitalist/alterglobalisation movements.
I've published on contemporary French politics, particularly the radical Left, and on the history of the French anarchist movement, particularly between the wars. I've recently done some work on Georges Fontenis and the development of a libertarian communist current in France. I'm currently working on Daniel Guérin.
