Hi.
I'm working at the Royal Institute for the Study and Conservation of Belgium's Artistic Heritage ( http://www.kikirpa.be ). The subject of my doctoral thesis, which I started in 2003 at the departement of Art History ( http://www.skar.be/ ) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel ( http://www.vub.ac.be ), is "Belgium in the European avant-garde, the European avant-garde in Belgium. Anarchism in Belgian art from 1830 to 1940". A first publication, resulting from this work, is an article "Enkele anarchistisch gezinde kunstenaars rond Emile Verhaeren" (Some anarchistically inspired artists around Emile Verhaeren) in the book "Anarchisten rond Emile Verhaeren", David GULLENTOPS & Hans VANDEVOORDE (eds), Brussels, VUBPress, 2005.
