Polly is a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Politics and International Studies at SOAS.
Her research interests include: the politics of space and the spatiality of protest; social movements/networks; political resistance and its relationship with both state/non-state actors and policing and protest in democratic societies.
Her PhD research focused on the joint Israeli-Palestinian resistance to the Separation Wall in the West Bank.
She is currently working on a book that traces the consolidation of barriers separating core and periphery regions and the political resistance such barriers engender.
